Subject: Reopening of Some Long-distance Hiking Routes and Walami Trail on July 16, 2026, and Kuhanuosin Mountain/Guan Mountain Trail on July 17, 2026
- Previously opened route: Yushan Trail.
- The following routes will reopen:
(1) From July 16, 2026: Batongguan Trail, South Section 2 of the Central Mountain Trail, Siouguluan Trail, Mabolasi Cross-ridge Trail, Sinkang Trail, and Walami Trail.
(2) From July 17, 2026: Kuhanuosin Mountain/Guan Mountain Trail.
(3) Other routes remain closed. For reopening dates and the rules and conditions for applying these routes, please refer to the future announcements on our website.
- Although the typhoon has passed, rainfall may still occur in the mountains. The ground remains unstable, and there is an ongoing risk of rockfalls and landslides. Please pay close attention to trail conditions and your personal safety while hiking. If you encounter hazardous sections, carefully assess the situation and do not attempt to proceed if it is unsafe.
