Dear applicants and leaders:The 181.3 km point of Central Cross-Island Highway/No.8 Hwy has suffered collapse and caused traffic interruption owing to the effect of the typhoon MATMO disaster. The road will be expected to restore by The Directorate General of Highways on August 15. The online application system will suspend entry and application of Zhuilu Old Road from July 24 to August 15, 2014.The application for Zhuilu Old Road will not be accepted during this period. The park entry permit that has already been issued will be cancelled if the road is not yet open to vehicular traffic after August 15. To enter this trail a new application is required. The reopening time will be announced in accordance with the recovery situation of the road. (The application for Zhuilu Old Road is only open for the half route (eastern entry and exit) due to the fact that the 9.8 km point of the entrance to Cimu Bridge has collapsed.)
