1.During Chinese New Year Holiday (January 27th – February 1st this year), Online Application for park entry will remain open, but submitted applications will not be processed until after the holiday.
2.Applications must be submitted at least 7 days before the indented entry date. If you plan to enter the park during the following dates, please apply before the respective deadline to allow application processing:

b.Entering on February 2nd: Please apply no later than during business hours of January 26th. Incomplete applications or applications with missing information will be declined without further notice.
3.As park entry applications will not be processed during Chinese New Year Holiday, please make sure your park entry application is complete. Applicants will not be able to modify applications within 7 days of the park entry date, and an incomplete application will not be approved for park entry. When applying with the Old System, please note the followings:
a.The team leader, upon obtaining “Team Name” and “Team Identification Number”, must add other members to the team using Online Application → Online Park Entry Application → Member Application for Authorized Leader
b.After members are added to the team, detail personal information must be updated using Online Application → Application Modification (enter team name and passport number of respective team member)→ Personal Information
c.Make sure all team member information is properly filled out: at least 1 member in the team must have GPS available (smartphones, tablets, PDAs, etc. with GPS function all count); all members must confirm Hiking Safety and Environmental Education Guide’s completion status (must be either E-learning or Group Learning); team members’ emergency contact phone number cannot be the same as member’s mobile phone number; and related regulations must checked with the “read and understood” status.
d.Teams applying for Conditionally Opened Routes must obtain 2 proof of hiking experience photos (hikes over 3 days and at location above 3000m of altitude) for each member, consolidate all the photos into a single file, and upload the consolidated file at Online Application → Application Modification(enter team name and team leader passport number) → Application Info.
4.If there are members under 20 years of age within the team, the signed parental permission form must be mailed to: No.515, Sec. 1, Jhongshan Rd., Shueili Township, Nantou County 55344, Taiwan. To allow timely processing, please apply for park entry and mail the parental permission forms as soon as possible, as mail service might be delayed during Chinese New Year Holiday.
5.The Yushan Mountain Routes will be closed during February, during which application for related routes will be unavailable.
6.Chinese New Year Holiday typically falls within estimated snowfall season. If snowfall occurs, the terrace mixed with ice, snow, and rock will be difficult to traverse, substantially increasing climbing difficulty. For safety reasons, if the team leader do not have snow training certification, or if team members do not have snow hiking experience, please refrain from entering the park in the event of snow.
7.The Dongpu Trails (South Sec. 2, Siouguluan, etc.), Mabolasih Trail, and Batongguan Trail are closed due to previously incurred typhoon damages, including several seriously disrupted points. Application for these routes will be unavailable until further notice.
