Starting April 6th, 2017, applications for entry into Yushan National Park Ecological Protected Area (except Yushan Trail 2-5 days Route) will need to be submitted at the “Online Application for Entry Permission To Taiwan’s National Parks” website.

Application for Yushan National Park routes with no daily approval quota limits had been moved to the New System since January 1st, 2017. These include:
- Yushan Front Peak Day Hike
- Walami Trail Day Hike
- Yinyu Waterfall Day Hike
- Guan Mountain Day Hike
- Kuhanousin Mountain Day Hike
Application for the following trails/routes within Yushan National Park will be moved to the New System starting April 6th, 2017:
- Yushan Main (West) Peak Day Hike
- Kuhanousin/ Taguan/Guan Mountain Trails
- Batongguan Trail
- South Section 2 of Central Mountains Trail
- Siouguluan Trail
- Mabolasih Trail
- Sinkang Trail
- Japanese Era Batonggaun Traversing Trail
- Walami Trail
Application for “Yushan Trail 2-5 Days Route” will remain on the Old System.
