假日定義為星期五、六、國定假日前一晚及農曆連假。 ‘Holidays’ are defined as Fridays, Saturdays and a national or consecutive lunar holiday (including the night before). 非假日定義為星期日至星期四。‘Non-holidays’ are defined as typical Sundays through Thursdays.

4. Refund standards:

(1) If you are unable to travel to the lodge on the scheduled date due to force majeure or trail closures announced by the National Parks, and any of the following circumstances apply, the full amount paid will be refunded, but you will not be able to automatically apply for an extension or arrange another accommodation period.
These measures apply over the period from 2 days before the issuance of a maritime typhoon warning to 5 days from the date when the warning is lifted.
The western section of the Nengao Crossing National Trail is closed during such a warning period and will be flexibly closed for 3 days from the opening date.

Although this office has not announced closure, weather reports issued by the Central Meteorological Administration, such as heavy rain warnings, earthquakes and other force majeure factors, and the release area is Nantou County and Hualien County, may make it impossible to go on the scheduled date.

(2) Refund for cancellation of application:

1. If the order is successfully canceled 5 days before the start date, the paid amount will be refunded in full.
2. If the cancellation is successful between 3 and 4 days before the start date, 50% of the paid amount will be refunded.
3. If you cancel the bed within 2 days before the start date or do not show up on the accommodation day, the amount paid will not be refunded.

(3) Refund for reduced bed capacity:

1. Calculation method for refunds before 5 days before the start date:
   Mountain lodge: Single person charge amount × reduced number of people = refund amount; campground: no refund.
2. Calculation method for refunds within 3 to 4 days before the start date:
   Mountain lodge: Single person fee × reduced number of people × 50% = refund amount; campground: no refund.
3. If you apply for bed reduction within 2 days before the start date or do not show up on the accommodation day, the amount paid will not be refunded.

(4) If a group or individual has special circumstances, a medical diagnosis certificate or agency certificate should be attached, and this office will determine whether the team or individual is eligible for a refund.

5. This office reserves the right to amend various regulations.
