The Southern Cross-Island Highway (Highway 20) is only accessible up to Meishankou. The 110k-147k section of the Highway (approximately between Meishankou and the Guanshan Yakou Tunnel) is blocked due to disruption caused by Typhoon Morakot and later weather events. Entry is prohibited for unauthorized vehicles and persons.
